Abstract:
- Phase information plays an important role in signal and image processing. For example in signal analysis, phase retrieval of superposed basis functions is a common task. In image analysis, the phase provides information about the image structures, as e.g. edges, independently from the image contrast. In the last years, novel methods from Clifford analysis were established for image processing to retrieve phase information for higher dimensional signals and on various geometries, such as torus and sphere. In the minisymposium, we will illuminate the approaches and establish relationships between the various methods for the development of new algorithms.
Topics:
- Phase retrieval: Signal and image recovery
